An exciting opportunity for a Senior .net Developer with microservices architecture experience to join a dynamic and creative team at a rapidly growing IT consultancy and software development orgainsation in the Brisbane CBD.

Essential Skills and Experience:

A relevant degree level qualification in engineering, information technology, or computer science; or equivalent commercial/industry experience

At least 3 years of experience in a software development team

High level proficiency as an applications developer in .NET, SQL Server, LINQ, .NET MVC.

Experience as a as a relational database developer (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySql, Oracle)

Working knowledge and experience with microservices architecture

Experience with web design and/or implementation (e.g. Javascript/Typescript, React & Redux, Angular)

Experience with software development life-cycle phases of development, testing, deployment and on-going maintenance.

Able to work in a variety of client environments and contribute to high-energy teams.

Knowledge of software concepts, methods, terminology and design patterns.

Exposure with containerized applications (e.g. Docker, Azure)

Experience with Cloud Hosted Service (e.g. AWS, Azure)

Desired qualifications, skills and experience:

Knowledge of Agile principles, including Scrum, test driven development and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Exposure to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis and design

Exposure to Jenkins CI/CD suites

Exposure to applications development in PHP, Python Drupal, PostgreSQL or Ruby, Java, Oracle)

Exposure to NoSql, and KeyValue Stores (e.g. DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB)

Exposure to Distributed Event Driven Architectures and infrastructure (e.g. Event/Command Stores, ESB, Message Buses)
